Dr. Mustafa Alwan

Biography

Dr. Alalwan joined the Healthpoint medical team in 2023, bringing with him a wealth of expertise in the field of internal medicine. He embarked on his medical journey by obtaining his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from Mutah University, Jordan, in 2007.

Subsequently, he completed a rigorous medical and specialty training program in internal medicine at Jordan’s Ministry of Health. Before joining Healthpoint Dr. Alalwan served as a Specialist in Internal Medicine at Al Dhafra Hospitals in Abu Dhabi.

Dr. Alalwan’s professional journey also includes various experiences in his home country, Jordan, where he worked as an Internal Medicine Specialist at Al-Hussein Salt Hospital and Shouneh Hospital in Al Balqa. Additionally, he served as a senior resident at Prince Hamza Hospital, overseeing patient care, collaborating with specialists, performing various medical procedures (such as NG tube insertion, paracentesis, lumbar puncture, and central line placement), and taking patient histories. His responsibilities extended to conducting daily case presentations during morning reports and supervising medical students and interns.

Dr. Alalwan is an accomplished hospital medicine specialist with a deep commitment to healthcare management and the well-being of hospitalized general medicine patients, particularly in the realm of postoperative care. He is equally passionate about contributing to medical research and education, actively participating in the advancement of medical knowledge and the nurturing of future healthcare professionals.
